Your personal content stays on your device. Wake times, sleep plans and access to your Hue Bridge are stored locally only. For anonymous usage statistics and payment processing we use two privacy-friendly services – entirely without advertising trackers.

This data is not shared with third parties and can be removed at any time by deleting the app.
The app communicates with your Philips Hue Bridge exclusively over your local Wi-Fi network. No data is sent over the internet to Philips, Signify or other third parties. Communication happens directly between your device and the bridge in your home network. The sunrise is stored as an automation on the bridge itself and runs there even when your device is switched off.
The alarm and the bedtime reminders are scheduled through your operating system's alarm and notification functions and run there. No data is transmitted to us or third parties for this.
If you allow it, the app reads your sleep data from the past night (sleep duration and phases) in retrospect to show you a review in the morning. Access is read-only, the review happens on the device, and no health data is transmitted to us or third parties. You can revoke this permission at any time in your system settings.
To improve the app we use TelemetryDeck (TelemetryDeck GmbH). TelemetryDeck collects only anonymous signals (e.g. "app was launched"), fully avoids advertising IDs and personal identifiers, and is designed for privacy in line with GDPR. Premium features are unlocked via a subscription. Payment is handled by the respective store (Apple App Store or Google Play). To manage the purchase status we use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.). Purchase and subscription information is processed; the app receives no payment or account data. The privacy policies of RevenueCat, Apple and Google also apply.
